PGL Singapore Major 2026
The second CS2 Major of 2026 and the first one in Southeast Asia. Here are the dates, how the 32 teams get in, the projected line-up and the format, plus a simulator to play out every match.
PGL runs its fifth Counter-Strike Major in Singapore. It is the second Major of 2026, after IEM Cologne in June (won by Falcons), and the first ever held in Southeast Asia. All 32 teams are invited from Valve's rankings, so the field is only known once Valve publishes the November 2 standings.
Try it: the CS2 Major simulator lets you pick every match of the three Swiss stages and the playoffs, using Valve's real pairing rules.

Format
- Three Swiss stages of 16 teams. Three wins advance, three losses eliminate. Matches that decide advancement or elimination are best of three, the others best of one. Eight teams leave each stage.
- Who joins when: the 8 Stage 1 qualifiers meet the 8 teams invited straight to Stage 2, and the 8 Stage 2 qualifiers meet the 8 teams invited straight to Stage 3.
- Playoffs: the top 8 of Stage 3 play a single-elimination bracket (1v8, 4v5 on one side, 2v7, 3v6 on the other), best of three, with a best-of-five grand final. PGL also adds a best-of-three third-place decider, the first at a Major.
- Pairings: round 1 is seed 1 vs 9 and so on; later rounds pair teams with the same record using seeds re-ranked by record and Buchholz. The simulator page explains the exact rules.
How the 32 teams are invited
Valve invites rosters from three regional rankings (Europe, Americas, Asia) built from its Regional Standings. The number of slots each region gets depends on how its teams did at the previous Major: a region gets one Stage 3 invite for each of its teams that reached the playoffs last time, and one Stage 2 invite for each of its teams knocked out in Stage 3. Invitations go out to Stage 3 first, then Stage 2, then Stage 1; if a roster declines or is no longer intact, the next roster in that region's ranking is invited.
| Region | Stage 1 | Stage 2 | Stage 3 | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Europe | 6 | 6 | 6 | 18 |
| Americas | 6 | 1 | 2 | 9 |
| Asia | 4 | 1 | 0 | 5 |
Split as reported by HLTV after the Cologne Major.
Key dates: the invitations use Valve's standings of November 2, 2026, and PGL's deadline for teams to confirm their details is November 6. Valve's published tournament exceptions also assign BC.Game (asap, Magisk, mzinho, s1mple, Senzu) to the Asia region for this Major.
Projected teams
These are the teams that would be invited if the October 5, 2026 standings were the final ones, using the regional split above. Roster changes and the November 2 update will change the list, so treat it as a projection. Teams start in the stage shown.

Pick'Em
Valve usually runs a Pick'Em challenge for each Major stage in the game. At Cologne 2026 each Swiss stage asked for two 3-0 teams, six teams that advance with 3-1 or 3-2 and two 0-3 teams, and five correct picks completed the stage. The Singapore rules will be in the game when the Pick'Em opens. Our model's picks for every stage are on the Singapore Major Pick'Em page. To build your own picks, open the Major simulator and use "Show Pick'Em odds" on each stage.
Stickers and souvenirs
Majors are also a skins event: team and autograph sticker capsules, and souvenir packages with skins from the maps played. Browse CS2 stickers, and if you are trading items before the Major, check your trade ups in the CS2TradeUp calculator first.
