Stickers are applied to weapons and can be scraped to look worn. CS2 has more than 11,134 stickers: 7,975 player autographs, 2,100 team stickers, 101 event stickers and 958 others.

The most famous CS2 stickers
The Katowice 2014 stickers, especially the Holo versions of iBUYPOWER, Titan, Reason Gaming, Dignitas, LGB and Vox Eminor, are the most valuable stickers in the game because they came from one old event and many were used up. Crown (Foil) and Howling Dawn are the most famous non-Major stickers. A craft with four of these can be worth far more than the skin itself.

Every Major brings a set of capsules: team stickers split into Legends, Challengers and Contenders capsules, plus autograph capsules with a sticker for every player. Each sticker comes in several finishes, and the Gold versions are the rarest. Major stickers are only sold for a few weeks around the event, so supply stops growing once the sale ends, which is why old Major stickers slowly become more expensive.
Sticker crafts and what they add to a skin
- Matching sets. Four copies of the same rare sticker on one gun ("4x") is the most valued craft.
- Position. On most guns the slot closest to the scope or near the magazine is the most visible and valued most.
- Scrape. Unscraped stickers are worth the most; even a light scrape cuts the value.
- Overpay. Buyers usually pay only a small share of the stickers' own price on top of the skin, except for rare crafts such as Katowice 2014 Holos.
Sticker slabs
A sticker slab turns one sticker into a small slab that hangs on your gun like a charm. It is a way to show a rare sticker without applying (and later scraping) it. See CS2 charms.
How stickers work
- You can put up to four stickers on most guns (five on some, using the extra slot).
- Scraping a sticker makes it more worn; scraping it all the way removes it for good.
- Stickers on a skin sell for only a fraction of their standalone price, except rare "crafts" collectors want.
- Stickers can't go in trade-up contracts, and a trade-up output never keeps the input stickers.
