Singapore Major 2026 Pick'Em: Picks for Every Stage

Updated 2026-10-12 · Majors & Esports

Our model's Pick'Em for each Swiss stage of the PGL Singapore Major, with every team's chance to go 3-0, advance or go 0-3. Build your own and check it in the simulator.

Picks are made before each stage starts and use only what is known before the first match: the seeds, the Swiss pairing rules and VRS points. They are a starting point, not a guarantee; the model knows nothing about form, maps or roster news. Want different picks? Fill the Pick'Em board in the Major simulator and press "Check my Pick'Em" to see how often your version gets 5 or more right.

How to use these numbers

  • 3-0 slots: pick the teams with the highest 3-0 chance, not just the best teams; the draw decides who meets whom in rounds 2 and 3.
  • Advance slots: a team that goes 3-0 does not count as an advance pick, so the safest advance picks are good teams with a modest 3-0 chance.
  • 0-3 slots: look at the 0-3 column; a weak team that meets another weak team early can win once and escape.

Frequently asked questions

How does the CS2 Major Pick'Em work?

At the Cologne Major 2026 each Swiss stage asked for two teams that go 3-0, six teams that advance with 3-1 or 3-2, and two teams that go 0-3. Five correct picks out of ten completed the stage. Check the in-game Pick'Em for the exact Singapore rules once it opens.

How are these picks made?

The model plays each stage 20,000 times with Valve's real Swiss pairing rules and win chances from the Valve Regional Standings (VRS points, softened because Valve's own check shows the raw formula overrates favourites). It then takes the two likeliest 3-0 teams, the two likeliest 0-3 teams and the six likeliest 3-1/3-2 teams.

Why is the Stage 2 success rate lower?

Stage 2 mixes 8 invited teams with 8 Stage 1 qualifiers whose strength is close together, so results are harder to predict and fewer picks land.

Are these picks final?

No. Until Valve's November 2 standings the teams are projected. The picks are recalculated when the official teams are known and again as real results come in.
