AWP Skins in CS2: All 52 Skins

The AWP is the bolt-action sniper rifle that kills in one body shot. Because every team fields an AWPer and the gun sits in the middle of the screen, AWP skins include some of the most famous and expensive skins ever made.

There are 52 AWP skins in CS2 right now: 21 Covert, 14 Classified, 10 Restricted, 5 Mil-Spec Grade, 2 Industrial Grade. The most recent case with an AWP skin is the Fever Case (2025).

• Dragon Lore (Covert, Cobblestone Collection; all five wears, no StatTrak): A painted dragon over a stone texture. Often called the most famous skin in Counter-Strike; Souvenir copies from Major matches sell for the highest prices.
• Gungnir (Covert, Norse Collection; all five wears, no StatTrak): Norse-themed silver and blue design named after Odin's spear. Its tiny supply puts it alongside the Dragon Lore at the top of the AWP market.
• Medusa (Covert, Gods and Monsters Collection; all five wears, no StatTrak): Stone-carved Greek Medusa art on a pale body. An old, rare collection AWP with a loyal collector base.
• The Prince (Covert, Canals Collection; all five wears, no StatTrak): Royal purple with gold details, from a map collection with limited drops.
• Asiimov (Covert, Operation Phoenix Weapon Case; no Factory New or Minimal Wear): The white, orange and black design that made the Asiimov name famous. Field-Tested is the classic look.
• Hyper Beast (Covert, Falchion Case; all five wears): A wild, colourful monster illustration and one of the most popular mid-price AWPs.
• Printstream (Covert, Fever Case; all five wears): Clean white and black with pearlescent highlights, part of the Printstream series across several guns.
• Lightning Strike (Covert, CS:GO Weapon Case; Factory New and Minimal Wear only): Purple lightning bolts on black. A simple, sharp look from the very first weapon case.
• Neo-Noir (Covert, Danger Zone Case; all five wears): Comic-book noir art in black, white and red.
• Wildfire (Covert, CS20 Case; all five wears): A red and orange phoenix in flames, a bright alternative to the Asiimov.
• Fade (Covert, Control Collection; Factory New and Minimal Wear only, no StatTrak): A pink, purple and yellow gradient. The amount of pink on the visible side changes the value.
• Containment Breach (Covert, Shattered Web Case; all five wears): Toxic green glow and hazard graphics.
• Desert Hydra (Covert, 2021 Mirage Collection; all five wears, no StatTrak): A multi-headed hydra over desert tones, from a low-supply map collection.
• Chromatic Aberration (Covert, Recoil Case; all five wears): Neon glitch colours that shift across the body.

Tips before you buy an AWP skin

• The AWP fills a big part of the screen when you scope, so wear is very visible; Minimal Wear is often the best value.
• The Asiimov has no Factory New or Minimal Wear, so compare Field-Tested copies by float.
• Top collection AWPs (Dragon Lore, Gungnir, Medusa, The Prince) are collector items; prices move with the whole high-end market.
• StatTrak versions of case AWPs usually cost noticeably more than normal ones.

AWP skin wear and StatTrak facts

• Only Factory New / Minimal Wear (3): Fade, Graphite, Lightning Strike. Every copy looks clean, so compare floats and patterns instead of wear.
• No Factory New (4): Asiimov, Man-o'-war, Pit Viper, Redline. The lowest float available is the "best" version.
• All five wears: 39 of 52 skins go from Factory New to Battle-Scarred.
• StatTrak: 28 of 52 AWP skins come in StatTrak (case skins); the other 24 are collection-only.

Newest and oldest AWP skins

The newest case skins for the AWP came in the Fever Case (2025-02): Printstream. The oldest are from the CS:GO Weapon Case (2013-08): Lightning Strike. Since 2022, 4 new cases have added AWP skins.
