The "Sir Bloody Darryl" variants from Broken Fang are the best-known T-side agents, and Special Agent Ava and Cmdr. Mae 'Dead Cold' Jamison are the classic CT picks.

How to choose an agent

• They are cosmetic. Every agent on a side uses the same hitboxes, so no model is harder to hit.
• Visibility is a matter of taste. Some players prefer darker or plainer models, others want the most colourful one; it doesn't change gameplay.
• Voice lines. Many agents have their own voice lines that your team hears in game.
• Patches. You can apply patches to agents to customise them further.
• One per side. You equip one T agent and one CT agent in your loadout; everyone in the match sees them.

How to get agents

Agents were earned from operation passes when those operations were live. Today the only way to get most of them is the Steam Community Market or a trading site. Agents can't be used in trade-up contracts.
